and why are the intructions in that file i cant read it like that it all surrounded by code and it's confusing do you have instructions with out all the code around it i cant tell were it beings and were it ends and are there any videos you know of on hows to install mods on phpbb

and the other question lol am very happy lol sorry but yeah how do i get both phpbb and wordpress under one domain do i beasuse in the read me it says :"Make sure you have already installed phpBB and WordPress,"
and were is this "You have two options to install this mod. -- manually, by altering code in your phpBB files, or automatically, using EasyMod." im talking about the easymod ?

Good morning. I am sure there are videos around, maybe search youtube. The code looks like that because you are either oprning it in a text reader (word notepad etc) or the style file is not in the right directory.. try right clicking on the install instructions and opening with internet explorer or firefox, its designed to be seen as a "webpage" I have not tried the easymod method, and I dont know anyone who has had success doing so. I highly recommend installing it manually.

to get them both under one domain??? you just install one then the other.. phpbb in root or wordpress in root then the other in a folder.. could be /forum or /blog totally up to you, they just have to both be availabled through "yourdomain.com" cant be forum on domain2.com and wp on domain1.com.

so how do i do this do i go in to the floder and i copy it and place it in it's new place omg but why isn't the root there any more plase explain what im doing were and do i deleted the old file from it original place ? lol step one

this means to take the file in the folder you downloaded "root" which contains blog.php and put the blog.php file into your "root" directory. basically, the root of your site is where your url points to. if you use an ftp program and open the root folder in it, upload all the contents (folders and all) from within the root folder on your pc and upload all that content to your site root.. does this make sense to you?

ok the part i don't get is it won't let make to of the same folders pk look i copy

and i copy the includes folder and past it in the main folder to do this

ok know i try and do this

but it says you cant have two files with the same name when i ty to do this

/includes/acp/info/acp_wp_united.php


and am i suppose to deleted wp_wp_united.php when i do the this one


ok and i doing this wrong ? am suppose to copy the file or fold and just place it in the main floder ? but then i have the duplicates and you can't have that duplicates a folder s in one area

I hate to say this, but you really may want to read up some more and try a few easier mods before attempting this one.. this a really involved mod and without the basics you will struggle. take a bit, relax and download an easy mod.. get your feet wet on that one and then try this once you are more comfortable..

o boy that not wat i wonted to here but if you feel that wat i need the i well i feel like im giving up and there no videos teaching you how to add mods that are good on youtube all i see it so guy just clicking and on top of that it's blurry do you have any videos out showing ppl how to do the wordpress and phpbb integration are there any premade wordpress integration phpbb

i know, its a tough cookie.. and I really think you can do it, its just hard without me actually doing it for you. As the programs each have to be installed and functioning first, there really isnt an easy way to make a pre-fab with everything. If I get time, I can try to make a video this week going through the install... i cant make any promises though as i am about kneck deep in site launches and customer work.. but I will try, that I can promise. in the mean time, find something easier which you can practice with.. install a simple mod that you would like anyhow, there are a ton of great mods available and like they say, practice makes perfect..
